Potato gnocchi with almond and sage pesto

The delicate taste of almonds matched with the particular aroma of sage for a fragrant and tasty recipe, POTATO GNOCCHI WITH ALMOND AND SAGE PESTO

Ingredients for 4 people:

- 600 gr of potato gnocchi
- 1 jar of 'Don Vito' almond pesto from 190 grams
- 30 grams of sliced ​​almonds
- a few sprigs of sage
- orion

Pour a little extra virgin olive oil into a pan and brown a little onion. Meanwhile, place a pot with plenty of salted water on the stove and cook the gnocchi.
Pour the almond pesto into the pan adding the chopped sage and stir.
Drain the pasta al dente and mix well with the sauce in a pan over low heat. Serve in dishes garnished with sliced ​​almonds and a sage leaf.

Tips:
If you want a lighter first you can also avoid the fried onion, directly mixing almond pesto and sage with gnocchi adding a little 'cooking water. Sage has a very intense aroma so we advise you to moderate the quantity as you wish!
